About the Event
Learn to leave the guidebook behind in my intermediate tarot course, now available remotely for the first time! In four classes of two hours each, we'll go deeper into card meanings and tarot structure, with a focus on reading groups of cards holistically in spreads. We'll explore the narrative of the Major Arcana, learn the grid system of the Minor Arcana, and get to know the Court Cards through elemental associations and personality archetypes. Every week, we pull it all together in a tarot spread that we read together as a class. This class teaches the Smith-Rider-Waite system.
Class meets Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on July 2, July 9, July 16, and July 23. PCC will email you a Zoom link to join the class call in advance of the first meeting. Tuition is $55.
This class is offered through Portland Community College (PCC), so you have to register for it through PCC. Use this CRN (course registration number) when signing up through PCC's website: 33868
