About the Event
Learn to leave the guidebook behind in my intermediate tarot course, now available remotely! In four classes of two hours each, we'll go deeper into card interpretations and tarot structure, with a focus on reading groups of cards holistically in spreads. We'll explore the narrative of the Major Arcana, learn the grid system of the Minor Arcana, and get to know the Court Cards through elemental associations and personality archetypes. Every week, we pull it all together in a tarot spread that we read together as a class. This class teaches the Smith-Rider-Waite system.
Some pre-existing familiarity with tarot is encouraged. For those who don't already have one, you should purchase a tarot deck to get the most out of this class.
Class meets Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on October 22, October 29, November 5, and November 12. I will email you the Zoom link for the class 48 hours before the first day. Tuition is $59.
This class is offered through Portland Community College, so you have to register for it through them. Use this CRN (course registration number) when signing up through PCC's website: 44687
