No Straight Answers: A Queer Tarot Intensive

This course is for anyone who wants an introductory yet in-depth, explicitly queer exploration of tarot that will provide a deep foundational knowledge of the deck and support you in feeling comfortable reading tarot for yourself (and maybe others). More experienced readers who are craving support in queering their tarot practice will also be well-served. 

We’ll learn the system of tarot through: 

• The Western classical elements of fire, water, air, earth, and aether

• Tarot numerology

• Queering the archetypes 

• Visual symbolism

• Astrological correspondence 

• Hands-on practice

And we’ll cover:

• The origins and history of tarot

• Approaches to and uses of tarot (psychological, predictive, magical, divinatory) 

• How to read tarot intuitively AND systematically

• How to get out of your own way and listen to the cards (a.k.a. develop intuition) 

• How to read and interpret spreads

• Ethical considerations of tarot readings

• How to build your unique, personal relationship to the tarot

All classes are recorded. If you miss a class or can't make it live, you'll be able to watch the replays for one calendar year from the date class was held. By participating in class with video or audio on, you do so with the knowledge and acceptance that you'll be part of the recording.
